More exciting news for holidaymakers as the Red list is slashed from 54 countries to just 7!
As of 4am on Monday 11th October 2021, 47 countries will be removed so travellers arriving into England from those countries will no longer have to quarantine in a government-approved hotel.
This comes just as the FCDO updated its advice against travel to over 30 countries.
The only countries remaining on the red list are:
- Panama
- Colombia
- Venezuela
- Peru
- Ecuador
- Haiti
- Dominican Republic
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps also added 37 countries to the list of locations with approved vaccine programmes, so travellers from those non-red list countries no longer have to quarantine for 10 days on arrival from Monday, take a pre-departure test or the day eight post-arrival test. Even easier to go on holiday
Those who are fully vaccinated and arriving from non-red list countries will no longer have to take a PCR or lateral flow test before heading back to the UK.
You must be able to prove that you’re fully vaccinated.
